I decided to start this blog stuff...a little more low key & less traffICKY...for the purpose of Sharon getting to know Sharon.  I'm not sure how effective it would be but pictures will be nice!  Hopefully...ultimately, this will reveal God in Sharon's life.  His magnificence, His goodness, His love for her specifically, His control, & His hand in EVERYTHING that has happened and will happen in her life.

I don' think I can ever tire of Yosemite.  The wonder, beauty, & expanse of it all.  Climbing up Half Dome was incredible!!  The odds were against it.  We had come this far!!!  I don't think I'm that stubborn with wanting things my way or wanting to do what I want BUTT I was STUBBBBORN about this!  There was no way I was going to pass up the chance to climb it...even if I was going solo.

...it was sooooo worth it...

These pictures signify our journey with God in life sometimes.  It's a little desert-like, then maybe we catch a glimpse of hope.  Then there's a huge obstacle.  Although this obstacle of climbing to get to the top was one of excitement, in real life, not so much.  It's more of dread, mistrust, & fear.  When you overcome the obstacle though, you experience life.  You've grown in some way.  You've seen beauty that you wouldn't have seen before.  It's something other people can't or will never understand because they didn't walk your steps.
